QUESTION # 2

   Noshen  bought 12 meters cloth from the market . she use half of cloth for her suit and 2/3rd remaining for her daughter,s suit . How much cloth left with her ?

SOLUTION :

                         the length of cloth   = 12 meters 

                        cloth used for her suit   =  12 - 6 = 6 meters

                       cloth used for her daughter,s suit  =  2/3 ×6 

                                                                              =  4 meters

                       Total cloth used for      =  6 + 4 = 10 meters

                        cloth left                      =  12 - 10 = 2 meters

 Hence, 2 meters cloth left with her .
