Program Overview
• 10-12 week summer program.
• Interns will individually work under the direction of their managers and will participate in a series of replanted events throughout the summer, including executive presentations, community service/volunteer day, team-building activities, and an end-of-program intern presentation to their manager, peers, executive leadership member and CEO about their internship project.
• The summer internship will begin the last week of May 2023/ beginning of June 2023 and will conclude by the last day of August 2023. At the completion of the program, the intern will be evaluated and considered for possible future internship and full-time employment opportunities upon graduation.
• Internships are paid and compensation is hourly-based with interns working approximately 40 hours per week.
• The intern is responsible for acquiring housing accommodations if they are not local to a Sun Power office.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
• Internships may be remote-based, in-person, or a hybrid combination. Candidates working from home are expected to work in a home office when not working in a physical office location. This includes frequent online meetings, on-camera presentations, and phone calls.
• Ability to position and move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office.
