Job description
Alaska mountain guides & chilkat guides are hiring for summer 2023! Come live, work, and play in Southeast Alaska Be a part of the Alaska Mountain Guides & Chilkat Guides team and join us this summer in Southeast Alaska where mountains and glaciers meet the ocean! We are currently seeking customer service and entry level admin positions in our Skagway offices!


The admin team supports our single day and multi-day trips on the operational and sales side. Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting the management team with day to day tasks. The guest services reps will help coordinate tour departures, track tickets/waivers, assist with end of day settlements, and build relationships with our cruise ship partners & third party vendors. No previous experience required for either position, but previous experience in cruise industry, customer service, or admin roles is a plus!  These positions are front-facing with a lot of customer interaction. Successful applicants may also be expected to drive guests to tour locations, coordinate transfers, and potentially receive training to guide certain tours (depending on interest, outdoor experience, and comfort). Our season runs April - October, some flexibility available for candidates seeking a shorter contract. Skagway and Haines are located at the north end of the Lynn Fjord and are both an adventurers' paradise. Towering mountains, deep fjords, abundant wildlife, and glacially-fed rivers make the setting for an unforgettable summer!
